2010 Garden Party To Be Best Yet
Bring your friends and join us at 9:30 a.m. on April 24th at the Renaissance Hotel

You will see jewels aglow and tulle-wrapped bows. You will likely see feathers flying and ribbon flowing. You just might see a peacock nesting. That’s right! The annual Garden Party is near where ladies show off their best (and most unique) hats!

Friends:
Please accept this as my personal invitation for you to attend our seventh annual Garden Party. I have been so amazed each year how the event has continued to get bigger and better. We have been blessed to host the Garden Party at the Renaissance Hotel, as well as have the support from hundreds of local businesses and individuals as they give incredible items to our Live and Silent Auctions. If you have not had the opportunity to attend this lovely event in the past, you will want to make every effort to come this year. I do hope to see you there!

The Little Light House’s annual Garden Party sets the stage for ladies and their gentlemen of all ages to gather in honor of the precious children of The Little Light House. The morning brunch offers an inspirational program with live and silent auctions. This year, emcee Sharon King Davis will join us again and special guest Maureen Harbinson will share her experiences as the executive director of The Little Light House in Mississippi, a sister school. Visit www.llhms.org to learn more.

We are honored to have Lisa Smith joining us to perform. Lisa Smith is a young lady with Down syndrome who has taken the gift of signing and added to it her unashamed faith, which in turn has allowed her to express herself in absolute freedom and adoration for the Lord when signing her interpretation of a song. Her determination led her to a meeting with the local high school sign language teacher.

After just an hour and a half lesson, Lisa showed how awesome our God is to grant the desire of a heart devoted to sing for Him. Lisa began sharing her artistic gift of signing with her home church, Denton Bible Church, in 2000. Word of Lisa’s unique gift began to spread across the Dallas area.  Soon Lisa was accepting invitations from churches and organizations hosting special events, both in and out of Texas.

Lisa has had the honor of accompanying Christian song artists Sandi Patty, Kathy Troccoli, Avalon, Sheila Walsh, Larnelle Harris, BeBe Winans, the 2006 and 2007 Women of Faith Worship Teams, Mark Harris and Mark Lowrey. You will be blessed by this remarkable, differently-abled young woman.
