 Little Light House Reaches
Out Across the Nation and Around the World
Almost since the conception of this ministry, there have been countless friends and
supporters who have held the strong conviction that The Little Light House needed
to be replicated across the nation.
Over the past decade, God has been confirming that calling and has been moving the
hearts of the LLH to extend the stakes of our tent. During that time the following
outreaches have been established.
Little Light House Reaches Out Across the Globe
 Welcoming International
Delegations
Since the 1990's The Little Light House Global Outreach Program has continued to expand;
welcoming visiting delegations from China, Korea, the Ukraine, India, Romania, Russia,
and other nations. Their purpose is to observe the operation of The Little light House
and learn more about serving children with developmental delays. Often, long lasting
relationships are developed.
International Outreach Training
In the mid-nineties, with its home base program firmly established, The Little Light
House sent out their first professional team to Pakistan to provide professional training
to workers in that nation. Since then, teams have been deployed to Hong Kong, Macau,
China, Hawaii, the Philippines and Costa Rica. The Little Light House staff is available
to conduct onsite seminars and training sessions for teachers and workers in other
nations who are desiring to increase their skills and knowledge in working with children
with developmental  delays.
Training Missionary Interns
The Little Light House offers tuition-free training opportunities for individuals
who have a heart for children with special needs in other parts of the globe. In this
volunteer position the Missionary Intern receives individual training and experience
as they assist the staff in a wide variety of activities ranging from classroom management,
one-on-one sessions with the children, special events and administrative tasks.
 Hiromi Childrens Recovery
Center
In the fall of 1999, Lin Yi was one of The Little Light Houses first Missionary Interns.
Just a few months after returning to his hometown of Lou Yuan, China in 2000 he established
Hiromi Childrens Recovery Center, a school for children with a hearing impairment.
Today 27 children ages 7 to 18 with hearing impairments from Lou Yuan and the
surrounding villages receive an education that they otherwise would not be able to
receive. Hiromi Childrens Recovery Center has become a model for the community and
region.

 The Life Line
Program
Responding to the needs of parents living in areas totally void of services for special
needs children, The Little Light House offers international home programs via the
internet on a tuition-free basis. Within this program, parents of children with developmental
delays from around the globe connect by e-mail with a Little Light House professional.
This professional then draws from the entire team of LLH professionals as they respond
to the questions and concerns communicated to them by the parents.
 Up with Down
Six years ago Mr. Frank Baxter came to The Little Light House with a request from
a mother of a young boy with Down syndrome in Voronezh, Russia for help in developing
a school for her son and other children with Down syndrome in Voronezh. Frank came
to The Little Light House for guidance. Since that first visit Frank has volunteered
at The Little Light House on his days off and he has made a number of trips back to
Voronezh. Frank has helped to pioneer a school for children with Down syndrome in
Voronezh.

Little Light House Affiliates
In 2004, God began to impress upon the leadership of TLLH, that it was time to respond
to countless requests to establish LLH Affiliate Programs in other states. In response
to this leading, an Affiliate Task Force was organized and after much thought, analysis
and prayer, efforts began to launch the first LLH Affiliate. The first Little Light House Affiliate in the United States opened its doors January 2006 in Central Mississippi!
