There are always many exciting things that are happening in our ministry. Here are a few of the things that we have happening lately:
Tyson's Gold Medal Mom Contest
Visit the Tyson foods website starting May 11 to vote for Marcia Mitchell, our Executive Director,
in the Tyson's Gold Medal Mom Contest. From hundreds of entries the Tyson team narrowed the field down
to 25 outstanding moms, and Marcia has made it to the top! If you vote for Marcia you will be giving her
a chance to visit Bejing, China for the 2008 Olympic Games. Everywhere that Marcia goes the Little Light House
is discussed, and we want everyone in Bejing to hear about our miraculous children.

Visionaries
Visionaries, a public television series that profiles the work of nonprofit organizations
all over the world, is producincg a piece featuring the work of The Little Lighthouse.
The 15 minute segment will be part of an episode distributed to public television
stations across the country as part of the twelfth season of the Visionaries series.
Currently in its eleventh season, Visionaries is hosted by acclaimed actor Sam Waterston
(Law & Order, The Killing Fields), who donates his time and energy to the series
out of his dual commitment to both quality television programming and the philanthropic
world. Visionaries, which airs on public television stations across the country (including
markets in New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Philadelphia- to name a few), is dedicated
to bringing positive stories of social change to light on public television, all the
while promoting and supporting the work of the nonprofit world.
Visionaries has selected The Little Light House because of their strong commitment
to providing young children with special needs, highly individualized educational
and therapeutic services on a tuition-free basis and for their strong vision and outstanding
results .Visionaries will capture this experience on film, ultimately using a compelling
and personal story to bring the organizations mission to light on public television.
The story of The Little Light House will be aired beginning April 2006.
