As one of the most volunteer intensive organizations in Tulsa, The Little Light House is
always seeking men, women, and youth who desire to make a difference in the lives of others. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available within every part of our organization including Classroom, Administration, Fundraising & Special Events, and Community Relations. All volunteers receive free training and work under the supervision of our qualified staff members.

Summer Apprenticeship Program
Youth ages 14 and up are invited to participate in our one-of-a-kind Summer Apprenticeship Program. This is a unique opportunity for students desiring to learn more about vocation fields relating to children with special needs. These fields include Special Education, Speech Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Low-Vision Therapy and Nursing.
Summer Apprenticeship Volunteers are required to serve a minimum of one day a week, Monday-Thursday during the hours of 8:15am-2:00pm. The Summer Apprenticeship Program lasts from June 12th– July 19th 2012. Help our children reach their developmental milestones while you explore educational & career possibilities! College & Career Students
Colleges and Universities within the Tulsa area have come to rely on the Little Light House for practicum, internship, and observation opportunities for career students. Arrangements must be made through our College & Career Student Coordinator in advance and space is limited.
