Director of Education

Seeking a highly qualified individual for Director of Education. The position supervises the development, organization, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the Early Childhood instructional programs for children with special, to ensure that all students receive a rich, developmentally appropriate, learning experience. Achieving excellence requires that the Director of Education works collaboratively to lead and nurture members of the educational staff, while communicating and interacting effectively with parents, the LLH trans-disciplinary team, members of the community, and colleagues in other districts and schools. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Special Education or Early Childhood Development with a minimum of five years teaching and administrative experience. Early Childhood Specialist

The Little Lighthouse is growing and seeking out individuals to join our team!  Come be part of an agency of hope, love and joy!  Currently, we are hiring a full-time Early Childhood Specialist.  This role entails promoting healthy parent-child interactions and encouraging developmental progress by balancing dimensions of structure, engagement, nurture and challenge during Early Intervention classes.  Bachelor’s degree in early child education, special education, family studies or a related field and 1-3 years experience in a program working with young children and their parents or a master’s degree in education or science in a related field with 1-3 years experience in a program working with children and families or 10 years experience in a field relating to early childhood education, parent services or special needs population required.  Interested persons should support our mission “To glorify God by improving the quality of life for children with special needs, their families, and their communities” and align with core values of teamwork, excellence, creativity, stewardship and spiritual maturity.  Interested applicants should contact Susan Griffin at sgriffin@littlelighthouse.org for additional information.

Events Assistant

Creative, hard-working, and love to serve? We are seeking out an Events Assistant! The Events Assistant is responsible for the oversight of Third Party Fundraising events and projects sponsored by outside individuals, corporations and other groups, along with the coordination and implementation of in-house Little Light House programs or events. They will also assist in helping carry out the plans and organization of all Little Light House major fundraising events and activities.
