Bio: Clarey Sharum is a 2016 graduate of the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has predominantly worked with preschool and school-aged children in a school setting and has some experience in a private clinical setting. Clarey provides speech, language, and communication evaluation and intervention services for the pediatric population, and leads trainings for staff and community members. Clarey has a passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and evaluates and provides intervention services to children with AAC needs. Clarey currently works for the Little Light House in Tulsa, serving as a member of its transdisciplinary Therapy Team. She has a heart for the Little Light House ministry and is blessed to be serving at her dream job.
What is the first thing we do at the Little Light House before diving into snack or lunch? Thank God through prayer, of course!
There are many reasons why we love to begin mealtimes in prayer, but one reason is it alerts our kids that food is coming soon. This is helpful to our picky eaters, especially, who may have anxiety around mealtimes.
