Events Assistant

Under the direction of the Director of Events, the Event Assistant is responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and execution of the four major annual events at Little Light House major fundraising events including Inch By Inch, Mini-Laps, Links for Little Ones, Miles for Milestones and Garden Party. As a member of the Events team, The Events Assistant is expected to be available for work two weeks prior to and one week after every major fundraising event, without taking personal time, unless in the case of an emergency. Director of Events

The Director of Events is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the coordination of programs and activities related to all Little Light House events. Events include major annual fundraising events such as, but not limited to, Mini-Laps, Miles for Milestones, Garden Party, and Links for Little Ones as well as Little Light House family events including the Christmas Party and Graduation. The Director of Events is also involved in the planning and execution of events surrounding Little Light House milestones such as anniversaries, ribbon cuttings, open houses, and the like.  This is to be done in a timely, cost effective manner, which fits within the parameters of the Little Light House budget. The Director of Events works closely with the Senior Director of Advancement, the Leadership Team, the Development Advisory Committee, Event Committees, and Development staff to develop and achieve fundraising goals and initiatives. Grant Writer

Little Light House is currently looking for a Grant Writer. The Grant Writer will maintain positive relationships with foundations and execute all grant processes including application and ongoing stewardship. Substitute Teachers

The Little Light House is growing and seeking out an individual to join our team!  Come be part of a ministry of hope, love and joy! The Little Light House is currently hiring substitute teachers.  This role serves in our developmental center classroom on an as needed basis. Interested persons should support our mission “To glorify God by improving the quality of life for children with special needs, their families, and their communities” and align with core values of teamwork, excellence, creativity, stewardship and spiritual maturity.
