Current Positions

Director of Education

The primary goal of the Director of Education is to provide exceptional education services to children with special needs through training, evaluating, guiding, and leading special education teachers, associates, substitutes, and temp staff. 

 The Director of Education clearly understands and embraces that they are a part of Little Light House, a Christian Development Center with Biblical core values, whose mission is to glorify God by improving the quality of life for children with special needs, their families, and communities. 

Director of Therapy

The primary goal of the Director of Therapy is to oversee the Developmental Center therapy team, including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Vision Therapists, Assistive Technology Professionals, Connected Learning Manager, Therapy Associates, and the Nursing staff. This position provides guidance, supervision, and direction to the therapeutic services offered to LLH students.

Part-Time Classroom Associate

The Classroom Associate is responsible for assisting the teacher in learning experiences for the students to which they are assigned in spiritual development, cognitive, receptive and expressive language, fine and gross motor and self-help, and social skills. The Classroom Associate is responsible for assisting in classroom activities and implementing educational curriculum designed for each student as directed by the teacher and furthering the ministry and mission of Little Light House. The classroom associate is responsible for supervising classroom volunteers alongside the teacher and performing other duties as assigned.

Substitute Teachers

Little Light House is currently hiring substitute teachers. This role serves in our Developmental Center classroom on an as-needed basis. Special Education Teacher

The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing learning experiences for the preschool-aged students to whom they are assigned in spiritual development; cognitive, receptive, and expressive language; fine, gross motor, self-help, and social skills. The classroom teacher is responsible for the overall classroom management and implementation of the educational curriculum designed for each student, as well as for furthering the ministry and mission of Little Light House. The classroom teacher is responsible for supervising their classroom associates and volunteers and performing other duties as assigned. 

 The teacher understands that the LLH is a Christian ministry whose mission is to glorify God by improving the quality of life for children with special needs, their families, and their communities. The teacher works toward our vision to change paradigms for children with special needs in Tulsa and worldwide!  

Full-Time Classroom Associate

The Classroom Associate is responsible for assisting the classroom teacher in learning experiences for the preschool-aged students to which they are assigned in spiritual development, cognitive, receptive, and expressive language, and fine, gross motor, self-help, and social skills. The Classroom Associate is responsible for assisting in classroom activities and implementation of an educational curriculum designed for each student as directed by the teacher to further the ministry and mission of Little Light House. The Classroom Associate is responsible for assisting with the supervision of volunteers in the classroom and performing other duties as assigned.
